How did people in the Stone Age dress?
Depending on the climate and temperature around where they lived, they would usually wear a variety of different things. Throughout the parts of the world where the environment was cold, they would wear different animal furs, that were contructed to bond togtether to allow the fur to completly cloak the being, to keep them warm. In other hotter regions, the Cavemen would walk around bare, or formulate a light form of cloth made out of different animal skins.
How did they make paint to create their paintings?
The materials they used to create their paintings were: berries and different fruits, a variety of different leaves and herbs and lots of mud and water.
How did they work out that stone would be a good source of tools?
Although the cavemen's brains weren't as developed as ours, they had enough logic to discover that stone is very useful to them in many ways. They discovered it as they were living in an environment that was surrounded by rocks and stone. Clearly someone came across a sharp bit of rock, and used it to help survive. It was a good source and tool for them.
How did they start fires without Modern Day materials?
The cavemen started fires using stone as it was a helpful and reliable tool. Not only did they use this resource for fires, it was a constant tool for other things such as spears, knives and other weapons. Because Stone was used so often in those days, it was clearly why that era adopted the name 'Stone Age'.
What was the environment like?
Depending on where the cavemen were living and the era that they lived in, was what the enviroment was like. For example, when it was the time of the Ice Age, the land was covered in thick ice and snow which caused the environment to be very cold and hard to live in. This is how one species of the caveman, died out. After the Ice Age, droughts, floods and other horrific natural disasters occured which meant that the environment was constantly changing. There is not exact climate throughout the Stone Age, as like our Modern Day, the world was constantly changing.
How did they work out the time?
Obviously in the Stone Age, they didn't have any clocks or electricity, so they told the approximate time by looking at the sun, and predicting the time of day. In their own way, they would look up at the sky and tell the time according to the area the sun is positioned. Wherever the sun may be, it would give them an indication of approximately what time it is throughout the day.
What did they eat?
The Caveman's diet included eating whatever they could find, that was edible and wouldn't make them sick. They ate a variety of meats, hunting down many animals including mammoths, deer, rabbits and any other animals that might cross their path. The caveman also ate fish, different fruits, seeds and any vegetation that looked appealing to eat.
What did they do if someone got sick?
If someone was sick or injured that would used a variety of natural herbs and plant to help cease the amount of blood loss. The person's family would gather around them, watching the leader begin to attempt to heal the injured person. They would give some form of respect and care for the person by simply watching on.
How did they learn how to talk and communiacte with each other?
The cavemen began to communicate by using different hand gestures and sounds, to point out what they were trying to say to the other person. Throughout time, as humans became more civilized, they developed speech, which enabled them to properly interect with one another.
What did they do when someone died and what did they do with the body?
After someone would pass, the tribe would simply abandon the person where they died occasionally wrapping them in some wool or fur.
